Clara Barry is a founding member of Intersex Ireland, an advocacy organisation dedicated to supporting intersex individuals and their families, raising public awareness, and advancing equality and human rights for intersex people across Ireland. Clara collaborates with ShoutOut, contributing to educational materials and volunteer training, with her efforts leading to significant increases in intersex awareness among participants. She has designed and refined the "Intersex 101" workshop, delivered to diverse audiences including medical students, LGBTQ+ student societies across Ireland, and at Pink Training - Europe's largest LGBTQ+ conference. Through this work, Clara plays a key role in bridging critical gaps in understanding, particularly within healthcare education, and promoting greater inclusivity across diverse sectors.
