Moving on Up
The Moving On Up initiative encouraged employees to add more daily movement through simple, inclusive actions. It boosted energy, well-being, and connection while fostering a positive, supportive workplace culture.

The Challenge
The client wanted to inspire their employees to take a more active role in their health and well-being. Despite offering wellness initiatives, participation was low, and employees were struggling to stay motivated. The leadership team recognised a need for something fun, social and energising - an experience that would bring people together, get them moving and spark lasting engagement.
The Approach
We designed a six-week “Run Walk Move” training program tailored specifically to the client’s employees. The program was built to be inclusive, welcoming participants of all fitness levels. We focused on building confidence, community and consistency rather than competition.
Throughout the training period, we provided weekly in-person coaching, motivation and group check-ins to keep momentum high. The program quickly became a shared challenge that brought people together across departments, creating new friendships and accountability along the way.
To celebrate the group’s hard work, we organised a custom 5K Fun Run exclusively for the client’s employees. The event featured personalised t-shirts, prizes and a positive atmosphere that encouraged everyone to take part - whether they ran, jogged or walked. The focus was on participation, enjoyment and celebrating the collective effort.
We wrapped up the event with trophies for the winners and pizza for everyone, giving the team a well-earned reward and a chance to relax and connect after crossing the finish line together.
The Outcome
The 5K program was an outstanding success. Engagement levels soared, with participants reporting greater motivation to stay active and a renewed sense of community within the workplace. The initiative transformed wellness from an obligation into a shared experience that employees genuinely looked forward to each week. We have now run this for 2 years in a row!
